Yep, you can. Mine eat it every year in good quantities with no problems...it's good for them.

I haven't fed my flock deer yet... Never thought of it. I make jerky for my family and treats for my dog. I will try it. Thanks for the post and idea.

I feed mine a little bit of raw venison they are fine. Also any scraps left in the fridge, just as long as it's not rotten, the only thing mine won't eat are tomatoes and carrots. They love basically anything you eat, also chickens know what they can and can't eat.
