Can I mix a few silkies with dominiques

Let the silkies grow maybe a third that is a cockerel.

Silkies are usually very docile in their temperaments. They also have crests and feathered feet that other birds like to pull. The size difference is also not in their favor.
I have a couple of standard birds that live with my Silkies. Those standard birds were raised by my Silkies, but the standards are clearly dominant. I have also put Silkie crosses into my standard coop. They are clearly the bottom of the pecking order.
I would not recommend putting silkies into an already established standard flock. I keep two separate flocks for the protection of the silkies.

have had bad luck so far so with roosters
Had to take roland (#1) out to my farm and shoot him cause he got so vicious (blindsided me while I was sitting in my chair ) Pretty Boy died this morning of injury's from a hawk attack two days ago

I have a kerbonixx 12 egg model I got from amazon yesterday and have running now
But I think your right
I talked to my cousin a hour ago ago
and he said hens ordered on line do not go broody

You will need a rooster unless you buy fertilized eggs in which case an incubator would be easier.
