Yay! I'm working on a little grow out coop/run for my littles (see but no touch next to main coop). I feel like every project takes so much longer than I expect! Trying to quickly finish outside projects before TX heat really kicks in. Mowing season has arrived, too....We are starting (and hopefully finishing) the new chicken run fencing this weekend, I'm so excited! Oh, and another garden bed too![]()

Wow...great progress. And Fiona is killin' it also.Long day, but we killed it! And Fiona laid another egg yesterday and today (still to small to incubate) but lovely colors! I did HWC on the inside of the fence to keep them from digging. (They had trenches going on!) The 2 new garden beds will be here Monday. Mini was supervising all dayWe may start the run next weekend.
Thank you! That post hole digger is a PITAWow...great progress. And Fiona is killin' it also.![]()
Hopefully the arms and shoulders aren't too sore after all that. Our ground finally unfroze, so I got 4 Maple saplings transplanted yesterday that I tagged last fall, 1 more to go.Thank you! That post hole digger is a PITAI wanted to buy an auger awhile back and hubs said, "nah it'll be fine". All is well until you hit the clay, but he powered through.
That's a super dark lovely color. Are you keeping her?Her eggs are great, loving the color, just wish they'd get bigger.
Yaaay.... Yes, the extra cash in hand is nice. I'm setting 22 BCMs today and have another set to do after that of BCMs and OEs that are all sold.I'm going to start collecting tomorrow from Dahlia, Sansa, and Onyx, I'll set them when I have 20. I have folks hounding me for chicks and the money will come in handy for all these projects, so![]()
