I am so psyched!! I finally got my webcam up and running. For the time being, it's trained on the brooder. Eventually I want to get one setup for the outside run as well.

Right now there are 10 silkies in the brooder, 1 wk old.

You don't like my falling leaves?? I was trying to get into the spirit of the season.

Of course, they aren't as distracting as my kids, who discoverd the cam this morning. If you tuned in a while ago, there's no telling what kind of crazy human chickens you may have seen...

Thankfully I'm not streaming audio...

Well, in an effort to make the pictures more clear, I've moved the cam to be inside the brooder. The chicks are really funny to watch - they come up to the cam and check it out. TOO cute!

Anyway, I think the view is a bit better now. If you watch for a bit you can see 'hoppy' the one legged chick hopping around...
