I have a horrible time trying to load photos on BYC. My husband showed me a way that I thought would work great, but I
still can't load them in an album.

So I am putting them here. At least this way I can direct people to the link.

Cochin bantams

Black and Blue Wyandotte bantams

Beautiful birds! and Beautiful pictures!! What kind of camera do you use? I have been looking for a new one that takes beautiful shots like the one that you took!

Thank you! It's a shame that all the backgrounds are so winter bleak.

The camera is a Cannon Rebel T2i and I was using a 75-300mm lens. I really like it, though I am no expert.

There is a photography thread on here with a lot of talent: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/266217/who-here-is-into-photography/1380#post_8633495

Oh, I love bantams! If I were rich I'd raise all kinds of them! Cool looking ducks!

Bantams are easier on the budget than large fowl!

Years ago I had no use for bantams... I only had one pen and all I wanted was big ol' egg layers.

Now I have all the coops and runs I want. I find that I love the bantams that represent the heritage breeds well: RIR, Orps, Wyandottes, Brahmas, Rocks... I still get an incredibly large egg, considering the size of the bird, lots of variety in my chickens, a lower feed bill and less shoveling to do

What's not to love?

Get yourself some bantams! You won't regret it.

They are precious.

If you go to your profile page and scroll to the bottom there are sort of default albums of all the photos that you have downloaded. If you go to the learning center and click on my chickens and then add a chicken page then maybe you can make a chicken page. But really making a thread works just as well if you save the link. You could even add the link to your signature if you want.

BUT... I really like these bantams in your pics...BEAUTIFUL!

As you mentioned, I may want to get me a few that represent the Heritage Breeds!

If, you have the time could you PM me as I would like to know more about these...thank you!
