Chick backing up after drinking.

Good lord! My phone must be hungry.
I meant chick feed mash!

I have edited it so future readers aren’t confused. What a weird correction!
My next question would have been the ratio of b-complex to mashed potato. 🤣
- and I was getting ready to go back over the past 5 pages, looking for references to mashed potato in baby chicks' diets!

I am. Read the same thing you did! She did show up like this, so while the medicated feed didn't cause it, it's possible it's not helping matters. I purchased some of the Silkie food I mentioned above and am thinking of switching. I don't know. We're a bit all over the place.
I would suggest stopping the medicated feed, and give the Rooster booster for awhile. Medicated feed does reduce their ability to absorb nutrients.

Done and done! :thumbsup
We've got Corid on hand if we ever have an issue, but they live in a pretty clean and dry environment (I'm a chronic pooper-picker-upper).

Vet appointment tomorrow for Willow. I'll update the thread if I learn anything interesting.

Just wanted to ask, have you tried an open raised water option? It seemed that Willow maybe was okay with the nipple because it was at chest height so perhaps an open water container that she does not have to dip her head to would be better for her? Hope the vet appointment went well.

Several times. Still an issue. I offer her an open cup a view times a day, which everyone seems to enjoy!

Hope the vet appointment went well.
I finally figured out how to get vitamins in her, so she much improved before her appointment! We consulted with the vet and will stay the course.

Have you tried using one of the gravity waters, see if she uses it without an issue?
Yes, still an issue, unfortunately.
