This just appeared one day and I don’t know what to do. Anyone have prior experience with this?

It's developing 'cross beak'. Sadly it is generally a progressive condition resulting in the need for special feeding considerations - deep dish moistened feed. Hopefully it will not be so progressive with this chick. Do an on site search for more information.

Yes, I agree with @sourland. Do not put the chicken down! I myself have a scissor beak chicken for years now and she is living a perfectly healthy life! Some Chickens get it. This is mine,

Ok would you recommend putting it down?
The chick's crossbeak doesnt look overly severe Yet. How old is the chick? I have a couple of cross-beaked Easter Eggers in my large layer flock. The only adaption ive made is to provide feed in a deep dish so they can scoop/shovel the feed into their beaks. I feed both pellets and crumble, depending on what is on sale that week.

The chick should do just fine as long as the beak issue doesnt progress to severe. A Minor crossed beak wont affect her egg laying or her joy of life. In addition to being progressive (meaning crossbeak usually progresses as the chick grows, but remains stable after the chick reaches adulthood), crossbeak is usually inherited and passes down through generations. Meaning only use her eggs for eating and not for hatching.

Ok thank you she is about a month old

I have a cross beak crevecoeur, Herky Jerky, and she's doing just fine. It takes her a bit longer to eat than the others but I just keep a check on her and make sure she's eating ok. She's 11 weeks old. I do slightly trim her beak from time to time.
