I have a nurture right 360 and one of the eggs against the side hatched and the poor chick had their leg drop into a side slot. Just a freak incident. I tried to get something to pull the grates up, but the chick was fighting pretty hard and I don’t know how long. At the time, it wasn’t super noticeable if anything was hurt.
It’s been about 5 days and it’s now noticeable. Their leg joint isn’t working and when they go to stand up that leg won’t hold them up. It just moves to the side.
Is there anything I can do? I know I can splint it maybe? With what materials? I don’t have much at the house. But, can probably get to a pharmacy if needed.
