One of my girls ate what looks like a thin, plastic topper. Kind of tube looking. Best way I can describe it. I tried to get it before she swallowed it but was too late.
It’s been a full 24 hours since this happened. I’ve watched her eat, drink, poop and she’s laid an egg.
However, I just went back out there and she was on top of the coop hanging out. She maybe looks a little hunched but not sure if all of this is just a coincidence because we are having winter weather (snow), which isn’t common here.
What do you even do in this situation? If she’s been pooping and eating, is it safe to assume she’s ok? Will she poop it out? Could she feel a little yucky because her body is trying to break it down? Help
