Tonight we brought little "Trouble" inside to watch a few min of Star Wars. She snuggled up & enjoyed my DD's lap for the most part. However during a light saber battle scene, Trouble started making all kinds of alarm calls. She had perfect timing!

My boyfriend and I love big bang theory so I don't even have to change their names Lol. Doesn't quite fit my other sebrights names but I doubt Odin(girl with a guy named she is blind in one eye) and Sif will mind what their new man is called. And he even gets along with my golden roo Loki . Sif and Penny had a couple throw downs but the boys are cool with each other.

Just thought I would share some "winter" photos of our Sebbies. At least, its suppose to be winter, but here it looks more like spring. It has barely snowed even a single flake where we are, and usually there are huge, four foot tall drifts around the barn by this time. Instead, its rained and rained and rained some more. However, the chickens are perfectly fine with this (and so am I) so even though we didn't have a white Christmas, the chickens got to spend a lot more time outside foraging in peace.

Here is Spock, my new breeding sebright. He's under a year old but already very handsome.

This is Spock's sister, Diamond. We unfortunately cannot keep her since she has a crooked beak and I don't want to risk her passing that on to her chicks. However, she's very beautiful and healthy otherwise. And her crooked face is kind of cute.

This is my sebright mix, Ruby, with her two Christmas chicks. One she hatched under her the other was hatching when she left the nest so I brought it in and set it in the incubator a few hours until it finished, then reintroduced it. This is her trying to figure out why she suddenly has two chicks instead of one. This chick I named Rain, because it was raining instead of snowing when she hatched.

This is Rain's brother/sister Noel, who seems to have some blue silkie in him, since his colors are lighter, more slate, then Rain's, who is a dark black.

Here is Rain just moments after hatching, the shell still attached for a few moments longer (she kicked herself out quickly and was ready to see her mother, the noisy little girl)

Here are some pictures of our current sebright mixes:::

This is Eve, my Golden Sebright x Silver-Duckwing OEGB (I call her and her siblings the Twilights because of their gorgeous coloration)

This is one of my sebright mixes that I am creating into my own fun little breed (a hobby project for now) called a Dalmatian. However, she does not have a crest or spots, so she isn't quite a pure Dalmatian. However, she is gorgeous! Her name is Dove.

And finally there is Eve's brother (I can't tell them apart anymore but this is probably either Twilight or Dawn). He looks a lot like a Silver Duckwing but he has red in his hackles and wings and white "stars" on his chest" as well as a rose comb. He is also larger then our OEGB, even though Sebrights are suppose to be small. However, they are incredibly hardy for their size.
