Chicken chasing kids

Hi im new here. I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out why 1 chicken that use to be the nicest one. Now runs after and basically attack my 6 yo daughter. She also will get up and sit in her chair if my daughter gets up. Any advise would be great.

I wouldn't keep a chicken that attacks children, even a hen. I think I might invite her to dinner, or rehome her to someone without kids.

As a kid we had only one hen. That bird would chase me everywhere. Thrill of the chase I guess. No idea. She was my responsibility.

Is this a younger bird, pullet? If this is a younger bird are we sure it’s not a cockerel? Maybe a picture of the bird would help. Chasing seems more of a male thing.

Have you tried temporary isolation and letting your daughter sit near the bird with a fence between them to give it some treats?
