I know this is an old thread but hoping I might get an answer…was your chicken okay?

edit to add- I’m asking because one of my chickens has an injury that looks similar to this one. We used the tea bag method to protect the wound. This is my first time having chickens so I’m wondering what to expect over the course of healing, if it will heal at all. Thank you
