Cross beak not eating like normal after beak trim.

Mine use the pavers around their coop for just that. They are not crossbeak however.

I have small bricks around my chicken run for mine to use! Need something for the crossbeaks.

I guess the color of the beak isn’t an indicator of where the quick starts? I didn’t clip the dark part of her beak so I’m not sure exactly where the quick starts

I bet it would be easier to see with a lighter beak.
