The proper term for "grandfathered in" is legal non-conforming use.

Putting no-crow collars on does mitigate the noise produced by roosters. Keep them all.

Thanks for the tip Walnut! Based on the fact they don't know the difference between the term Hen and Chicken I worry about using any big words or terms with them.

I have 7 or 8 Bev Davis roosters coming up. I would rather breed a pure line of Bev Davis so I don't really need the BCM roo I have now. I already got rid of the bantam roo yesterday. This gives me a way to compromise and still get what I really want.

You showed up just in time to see a wrap up. Those are my favorite contribution to the forum. Usually happens after sidewing has been gone for a few days and wants to know what he missed. The beauty of them is that unless you actually read the thread, they makes no sense at all

The sad thing is, if you have been around here long enough you pretty much know what the wrap ups mean without going back to look.
