Closing in underneath trampoline?

We have a 14' round trampoline in our backyard & I'm considering putting hardware cloth around the legs and using it as a semi-secure daytime chicken run.

Has anyone ever done this?
Do you have any tips/hints/suggestions that will make my life easier when I'm attempting this?

Wow I was just thinking about this the other day!!!! Inpute would be awesome. I think it should work fine and would save having to crawl under there and mow.... I am sure someone out there has done this and I would love to know more as well.

I'm pretty sure my SIL did this. I wish I had more details to offer

but I can't remember if she did it for chickens or sheep...

A BYC member did that and it looked great. I will try to find the thread and post it.

Never done it, but I have thought about it. I have a tramp frame up on a shelf in the garage. I have often wondered about using it for just that purpose. Let me know how it goes for you and perhaps that will be just the added inspiration I need to give it a try.

I know I have seen a few pictures of other BYCers doing this. I believe they all were happy with them.
