Cockerel spinning in circles while free-ranging

I have a 10.5 week old cockerel that I hatched from an egg and every time I let the chickens out to free range, he will randomly spin in circles. I never see him do this in the coop or run and I don’t see anything off with his eyes. Is he just a weirdo or is there something wrong with him?

It might be a neurological symptom. Do you have other roosters? You could try giving some human vitamin E 400 IU daily along with 1/4 tablet of super b complex and a little bit of scrambled egg for selenium.

I have another cockerel his age and a 3 year old rooster. They’re all acting normal.

I have someone coming by tomorrow to pick up the extra cockerel and I was going to let them choose between the two…but I saw him do this again tonight so I thought I’d better check and see if something was going on so I didn’t give them a problem bird.

Can he see out of both eyes?

I posted a picture of each of his eyes and they look normal to me. Is there a way to test if he’s blind in one?

I would not let the person chose this guy with his problem, in case it turns out to be something serious.

To me it looks like he is unsure of something that may be edible on the other side of the fence. Looks like normal chicken behavior.

I just went out and threw down some scratch and he was eating it normally. He’s been in the run all day and I haven’t seen him spin at all.
