Cockerel?

Hi everyone, we have a lavender orphington that we think is a cockerel but is 12 weeks and not crowing or even trying. We have seen him/her mounting and pinning down some of the other chickens and he/she is much bigger than the other chicks the same age. Is it a cockerel?

This could also indicate behavior of a dominant hen, just as female dogs will hump each other to show dominance.
