Confused on the sex!?

Ok, im confused!

I have 2 5 week old ducks and im trying to figure out the sex of them. One has a super husky quack already, sounds like a real "duck" quack, even more "quackier" than my two adult females! And the other is still making the baby squeaks. Im so confused, anyone any ideas?

I would say that the quacker is probably a female, especially if you already have females and are able to recognize the sound.

The others could be drakes or late-blooming females. They are still on the young side to be able to voice-sex them, so you'll just have to wait!

The one that starts quaking sooner and louder will be you female. I find it funny when the males are still peeping and the females are quaking already.

yh my boy sometimes make a girl quack from nowhere. usually the curled tail feathers are a sure thing because females dont get them.
