Coop of Stip and Vlerk

As many of you already stated.. The house above was to small for my ducks (as I have 6 now)
They were free ranging. But because of the avian flu, this was not allowed anymore and I made them a temporary area which was big enough but not what they are used to.
But yesterday they got a new outside area! Yeah!!

The snow and ice are just melted/melting now. When it's gone I will put a couple of chickens in the tiny house. The ducks sleep in the shed on the right side of the first image

So they only need a fenced area, no 'roof' to keep wild birds away?
Because they are domestic ducks the regulation only said keep them in a fenced area.

It already started in november and until yesterday we kept them in a small area very close to our house (attached to it actually).
Now the flu seems to be gone, at least the embargo around transport of chickens and ducks has been gone...Not an official all clear yet. So we felt it would be time to give them some more space.

Preferably they would have gone back to free ranging but since we had to clip their wings in order to stay close to the home, it's probably less safe.
