My Wild Jungle Fowl rescue hen went intensely broody. Perfect time, so I grabbed eggs out of the ‘bator and threw them under her. Once in a while she takes a break to eat, drink, scratch, and chill out on her perch. Meanwhile, one of our elder RIR’s takes over. After a while, Miss Broody goes back to do her thing. I love it! Is this typical?

That is good advice. I marked them because she was somehow collecting a clutch I would grab out. I was wondering how. :) I only got to see the elder, who in past her laying years, in the box.
