Coyote fence?

I’m brainstorming my run setup, I live in a desert climate with lots of coyote/air predators. Im thinking of a coyote fence barrier on the southside of my run to allow shade and protection. Any thoughts on this that I should consider?

Welded wire works well. Cattle panels are very durable and relatively inexpensive but will need to be doubled up. Maybe cover with shade cloth as it's available in varying shades and is also relatively cheap and available in all different sizes???

There are things called coyote rollers, it keep them from getting a foothold ontop of the fence. (they can climb quite well)

Good idea on the cattle panels. We get some wicked winds I need to look into the shade cloth idea. I have a well house I’m planning to build my run off of, put the coop inside a run. Im thinking this would be functional?
