I have two of them, this is an auto sexing breed and bought them as feemales from the breeder. One has more vibrant feathers and comb. I am thinking he may be roo. or is it too early? the first two pictures are one chicken. The follow on two are the second chicken.

I do not know the breed, but I think 6 weeks old is way too early to be able to tell. (Unless you know how to look at the privates to tell) I have Barred Rocks and Buff Orpingtons. I was not 100% sure with the breeds I have until probably week 14-16. I did the same as you though, I was constantly analyzing them, I even definitely thought one was a roo based on her tailfeathers being different than the others. Ended up with all hens.

I’m thinking #1 is a cockerel. Females should have salmon/coral colored breast feathers coming in and the comb looks pretty developed for the age.

My guess is #2 is a pullet.

Glad I'm not the only one who found the middle weeks (1-6) confusing when raising two cream legbars! I'm just barely leaning towards cockerel for the first bird. Trust anyone with more extensive breed experience over me.

There's definitely some within-breed variance in the coloring; my female from a local pen was lighter than my store bought females at the same age. But none of them had combs quite that pink (...unless you think that's the indoor lighting?)
