Cream Legbar

Hello,

We were given a cream legbar “rooster” and I’m starting to question whether he’s a rooster or a hen. He doesn’t crow, he’s always in the nesting boxes and he gets flogged like all the other hens. He hasn’t laid an egg that I’ve noticed. He hasn’t gotten much bigger since we got him. He should be about a year old. We have other roosters who are huge and crow non stop. I just need some help because I’m worried about him.

Surprise! You sure you haven't had an egg from "him?" She looks pretty mature and I wouldn't be surprised if she's been laying some pretty blue eggs.
