Croad Langshan?

the white Croad Langhsan dont lay purpel eggs ,,, why is that ?

If you do some real research you'll find that Langshans do not lay purple eggs, no matter what color. It's a fairy tale and the biggest proponent of the "purple egg" myth is someone that sells them on that concept and uses photoshop for photos online to make false claims.Langshans lay dark brown eggs. Hope that helps.

Strictly speaking, as far as I understand it and I have some of the dark langshan chickens, the deal is this:
the "plum" color is actually a blush more than anything - they aren't straight out purple. The most credible theory, and the one that lines up to my experience, is that it is actually a blush, or tint, conferred to the eggs as they pass through the ovum of the animal. Hence, the blush is more vivid in younger animals and can disappear altogether in older ones.

We have several langshan hens (black) and the darker color in the eggs was more present last year - their first year laying. It has disappeared in all but two of them this year.

They are dark brown. It's true. But so are copper marans. If you put a langshan egg next to a copper maran egg, they look different. So to me it's inaccurate to say it's a complete myth.

This would also explain why it is that white langshans do not lay darker tinted eggs. Less pigmentation in the animal.

None. They don't exist.

If I had no morals I could make SO much money off people who keep searching and searching for the answers they want instead of the truth.

I have photoshop. I could make some epic egg "colors" and the sad truth is people would probably believe they were real. There is a reason scammers make bank.

Whomever it was who posted the reason why some eggs came out rose colored was because of excessive bloom, thank you! I found one of these eggs in the nest once. I dont know who laid it, but I wish theyd do it again. It was beautiful. I couldnt understand how it happened. None of my 6 are fancy birds. An Orp, EE, 2 red sex links, and 3 mutts they lay light tinted eggs.
Here's a pic of it

I think you can tell which one.
