I love Buff Orpingtons. They have the best personalities, and they do get broody. Do you have a rooster?

No, we don't have a rooster, they are illegal in this county; we live in a city. We are not equipped with space for a brooder and with this being our first year (since February, 2024) with chickens, I'd like to get my feet good and wet with the experience of owning chickens for a while before I delve into that aspect. Some day, my goal is to have a rooster and a lot more chickens! We'd have to move to a larger place to make that happen. Some day! Fingers are crossed.
