Tip: Follow a wire in the hardware cloth

Old eyes that had cataract surgery a month ago -- following something at different distances is easier with some sort of color. I was trying to follow a wire but didn't work very well.

We wear heavy gloves and use tin snips to cut our hardware cloth.

Messing with hardware cloth is my LEAST favorite part of chicken keeping by FAR! I think these are tin snips--best I've found for cutting it. If you get it in the right position, you can almost cut it like a bolt of cloth rather than one wire at a time.

I love using aviation snips they work a lot better than anything else I had tried at that point. I did recently watch a video we're fellow was using a tool that looked like a electric powered pair of snips. I've since posted a question to the YouTube video asking what it was he was using to do the cut so quickly, but it was great to watch she was just going through it like a hot knife through butter
