Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Pics
i'm gonna need someone to "hold my hand thru it all" .... last hatch i hatched only 2 and 1 is half the size of the other (how would i know if they weren't calls?). one is black with a little yellow (still has down) and the big one has a lot more yellow than brown (they hatched within a day of each other). sound like 2 calls to you guys?

i was a nervous wreck during their hatching......

If we could have some pictures that would help. : ) I have 4 Calls right now and one of them is a bit bigger than the other three. One is about 3/4ths the size of the other ones, and two are the same size. It could be you have a PQ and maybe a BQ duckling?

Is this possibly a call duck?
It showed up about 3 weeks ago at my next door neighbors house, they have no ducks, only 2 small dogs and 2 cats
It comes over and hangs around my yard a bit too, I have 2 Pekins and 9 chickens and it will walk right up to me and let me feed it, I even picked it up a couple times so I assume it isn't a wild duck.
It looks similar to a Mallard to me but I know little about duck breeds and it has dark color markings on its feet and bill.
I pen my ducks at night but this duck prefers to stay outside in my pond at night usually. Sometimes I can whistle for my ducks and this one will fly right up to my feet almost.
She also showed my ducks how to swim in the pond finally, they would not go in any farther than the edge with their feet still touching bottom until they saw her out in the middle.

She could have been someones pet mallard that flew off, she is pretty.

I don't think I ever shared this video before, but it's pretty neat. Over the summer I used to bring my duck with me to visit my parents and swim in their pool. My sister took this video with her underwater camera. You can see Bunny's little feet paddling and then she takes a beautiful dive!

(Can't figure out how to embed it, but there's the link.)
