Hello everyone, this is my second time hatching in an incubator and I need some advise. I have 10 eggs in there since december 24th 10am and I’m wondering if they all died or not. There all have nice spider veins, but all seem to have a ring and I don’t see any eye. I’m sorry for the pictures my phone keeps focusing. Thank you.

A bit early to determine, but all look as if they are where they ought to be at this point.

Yes I know, I have a spare batch of eggs ready to go and I don’t want to toss them out if they are still good. What’s making me doubt is that i don’t see any embryo, but I do see really nice looking veins.

The rings you're seeing are probably blood  islands not blood rings.
the difference being that the former is a good sign. This is why you shouldn't write off any eggs before day 8-10, because it can be difficult to determine exactly what is happening inside of the egg. If I remember correctly, simply, a blood island is a special blood vessel that forms like a wall around the embryo and the spider like veins. Some look thicker and more abnormal, often misidentified as early blood rings- and others look thin and don't get noticed.

Anyway, those eggs look good to me, so far.

Thanks for your answer. I’ll leave them in there and hope for the best!
