My cinnamon hybrid production layer started laying 13 months ago and has probably laid 300 eggs. She had a few shell-less eggs last week. I increased the availability to oyster shell.

Now her eggs have large ridges all over the egg. 2 in 2 days.

Is it an overdose of calcium or does she have some kind of funky oviduct, or is she just tired?!

Have you ever had respiratory illness within your flock? Looks like a Corrugated egg, this shape and texture is often seen when birds have had respiratory illness like Infectious Bronchitis.

Possible she may have some type of shell gland defect.
