Only if you serve it on rye, with a nice mustard or horse radish sauce.

LMAO!! The question came to mind when I dropped a piece of turkey on the floor...and we mind by the 60 second rule but I've read here that animal protein is important so thought I would mask.

It's fine. My birds get meat scraps all the time, raw or cooked. Deli meat might have a fair amount of sodium, but I doubt you'll be buying it by the pound for your birds. A dropped piece would be okay to feed them, they'd go nuts for it probably.

X 2 -- I toss deli meat (and other meat scraps) into the chicken bucket from time to time, they quite enjoy it. As noted, it can be high in sodium (this will vary depending on the meat/brand), but as an ocassional offering it's no big deal.
