do these eggs look like they are progressing correctly?

This is my first time incubating duck eggs and they were put in the incubator on March 16th but fairly late in the day. I just candled them and I really don’t know what’s ‘normal’ or bad but one egg is significantly lighter then the others. I also can’t exactly see any embryos in the darker ones but I can see veins on the darker ones. I can see that spot on the lighter colored egg but I don’t see veins exactly but maybe it’s my eyes. Would I be correct in thinking this lighter colored egg isn’t developing? I’m gonna leave it in there for now but I’m just getting stressed out that something is going wrong with them

The dark one seems alright. It can be difficult to see the embryo, but if you’re seeing veins & the egg is filling up, that’s good.

Light one looks like it developed for a few days and then passed. Not necessarily anything you’ve done wrong.

What’s your temperature & humidity, and are you sure it’s accurate? Are they turning properly? Ventilation? Do you know the age, health, and nutrition of the parents?

I would agree that the light one probably stopped developing but I would leave it in your incubator still just in case. I recently hatched my own baby ducks a week or two ago and I had one egg that I saw no movement or development in and I thought it was a goner and I cracked the egg open to see when I was discarding everything else and it had a very underdeveloped live duck in it. Yes I cried cause I was mad at myself for not leaving it in there and killing it but at the same time I had no idea it was even still alive.
