does anyone know where i can get a dyed chick

i want a couple i know they inject the dye into the eggs around easter time but i dont know where to buy them now. if your going to tell me how " inhumane" it is please dont ive researched it and its really not but i really would like a couple dyed chicks

This time of year I doupt you will find any.

Becareful. Laws have been passed in several states that prohibit the sale, purchase, or poccession of artificially dyed chicks.

Forgot to add:

The dyed chicks you buy at easter are hatcheries way of getting rid of all their extra Roosters. If you find any I bet they would be Roos too.

I don't think it's illegal in Fl to have dyed chicks. I got mine from the feed store around Easter time, they were dyed after hatch and they are white leghorn cockerals. I know Ideal has them but only around Easter time.

There is more than one way to dye a chick, injection and post hatch. Hatcheries often do both, and will specify if the chicks are straight run or cockerels.

yes we looked into it this year but found out it is illegal here in virginia. Not exactly sure but it is!
