Does having green legs mean colored eggs?

I've been trying to look up info on EEs and their characteristics. Why? Because I have a Turken with legs so green that it makes her bloomers (leg fluff feathers) look pink! Will she lay blue / green eggs because of this trait?

I don't think the two are related. I'm sure there are other breeds that also have green legs. I have 3 EE's that have slate legs. So far, only 1 is laying and her egg is a green color.

Peeper,

The answer is no. Leg color has nothing to do with egg color. Leg color is determined by four different genes and other genes that can modify the 4 genes.
Leg color is complicated so I will not attempt to explain the genetics. I have written two articles on the subject and both were long articles.

I have EE's with green and slate legs and they're just starting to lay...First one layed was a creamy pink egg.......so you just never know what to expect
