Dog thread!šŸ¾

Yes, so many unnecessary ingredients in most dog treats. That's why the only treats I buy are freeze-dried meat/liver.

Yes.
Thats all mine have had is freeze dried, air dried or homeade for awhile. I dont agree with half the ingredients in dog food/treats. I know thats my opinion though
I used to love freeze dried/raw type treats and foods etc. and buy the Stewartā€™s liver treats in all flavors but I donā€™t trust any of them anymore due to the bacteria and pathogen risks cause technically itā€™s not cooked and is still considered ā€œraw.ā€ For me, I would never feed raw anymore. I used to feed partially as well as Instinct Raw Boost kibble and freeze dried raw blend briefly. But NEVER again. But that is just ME and my opinion. Everyone else is open to THEIR opinion. Just like I ALSO will always stick to the SCIENCE based kibbles now aka the big 5 aka WSAVA compliant companies. UNLESS!!!!! My family happens to get some for me like they have a couple times recently THEN I WILL feed it so as not to waste it BUT!!!!! I blend it in WITH a science based kibble. So yeah. This is all just MY opinion!!!!! I am NOT judging anyone else!!!!!!! Heck, I used to be the biggest Purina snob and REFUSE to feed it and feed pretty much every boutique brand there is with my last dog. With Brewster, he WAS in Puppy Chow A LOT BUT I ALSO fed many boutique brands with him too and experimented. Both as a puppy and a young adult lol but now he is EXCLUSIVELY science based and thatā€™s that. Iā€™ve chosen Purina for us personally BUT right now heā€™s on a Eukanuba/Purina blend. I even chose to feed my cat and my chickens and quail Purina when I had them. Would have fed the budgies, fish, snake, and gecko Purina as well if I could have!!!!!! I am now a FULL Purina convert!!!!!!!!! LMAO I actually donā€™t really like the Euk for him even though itā€™s a fantastic brand and very expensive normally so itā€™s not something I would ever buy for myself for him simply because I feel itā€™s giving him bad gas as well as a body odor and bad breath and making his coat coarser and not as soft and making him poop a lot more. Not good. Thankfully the bag is almost gone. Then he will be exclusively on Beneful Healthy Weight. THEN when that bag runs out, we WILL be going back to DOG CHOW as he has always done AMAZING on it!!!!! It is higher calorie so I do need to watch that because he is overweight already BUT it shouldnā€™t be an issue if I just feed less lmao his coat is always soft and shiny on Purina products and he does not have the other issues he has on Euk when on Purina lmao but ANYWAYS, sorry for the major novel!!!!! But thatā€™s my spiel lol oh and weā€™ve even used Zignature and Inukshuk

I want a corgi to, that didnt get added to my list

I was trying to find a good training treat to feed over and over
I bake mine chicken breasts. I bake them a bit longer so they are bit firm. They can be cut into small pieces as treats. I also make ground turkey and use the little bits as treats. You could also find a dog food they like and use it as a treat.

We dont have a basket as the toys just get brought right back out. So we rotate toys every few daysšŸ¤£
Thatā€™s smart!!!! Hahaha heā€™s smart too. He wonā€™t take them all out at once. It starts as just one or two at a time but then within just a week or two, itā€™s a whole ton of them all scattered around my room lmaooooo
