Anyone here dealt with happy tail?
So Saturday we noticed blood all over a spot on the wall at first i was like whatever. Then again but this time looked like someone took a duster eith blood against the wall.
It was Tuckers tail. He waps it so hard that he cut it open. And it was going well until this morning when he hit it so hard again it started bleeding.
Ive tried wrapping it. Either it stays on for a few hours or he chews it off.

To add i trimmed his fur short on his tail to try and make the wraps stay on and it still didnt work.
His fur was long and thick and is goijg to take forever to grow back.

Tail injuries are so hard to heal, and keep wrapped up. It's why I won't apologize for wanting docked tails. Is it cut? Maybe your vet could use skin glue to seal it up? Just a thought.

Thats what made me appreciate aussies and other docked dogs a bit more the last few days. Im not against docking. It does seem like a cut but its on the tip of his tail, its also bruised some.
Its a very small wound but does bleed quite a bit.

Ill try and get a photo.
He doesnt appreciated me touching his tail
