Hi all. My son is using some non standard mix coloured, crestless Australian Araucana to breed some "Easter eggers" as we don't have them here nor Ameraucana (our Araucana look like Ameraucana but crested)
We picked up the first hen today and may possibly be returning for the second pullet plus a white pullet. He's wondering what colours they are so he can select a rooster. Title is just my guess

I also have this bonus hen that I can't remember the genetics on other than mahogany

The first bird looks like she could be e^Wh/? Co/Co s+/s+ plus two copies of Splash or Dominant white. It looks more like Dominant White due to the red tones to me however, Splash is a lot more common in Easter Eggers in my experience (unless it's different in Australia.) So I'd tentatively call her splash gold columbian. Once you cross her with a black based bird you will find out for sure if she is Splash or Dominant White.
She might not be homozygous for wheaten, she might have a copy of Mahogany since she looks lighter than red and more reddish than gold.
The second is split for duckwing and wheaten. She is a red duckwing/wheaten. e^Wh/e+ Mh/?
I've had one like that before, but not as dark.

Blue is more common than dominant white here so there would be a higher chance she's splash. I'll source a black rooster and go from there.
