My sweet Marshall is a 5 ish year old Pekin. Sunday my husband picked her up after cutting the yard because she didn’t move the entire time he was mowing - which is unlike her. The webbing on her left foot was ripped down one side. Took her to the vet on Monday and they removed the rest of the webbing and “glued” the side. I asked about what looked like a cut on her other side and they said the antibiotic for 7 days would take care of any other problems. Now her other side looks likes this and is more black now than the day before. She’s still eating, drinking and pooping and wants to go in the yard with her friends. We’re keeping her in the garage, contained and giving her epson salt baths twice a day and spraying wound care spray on her afterwards. There were some maggots in the towel after we had her wrapped up to get her RX in her. Lost cause? She doesn’t seem in pain. Any other suggestions?
