I tried to post this earlier and I think I did something wrong. My apologies if I duplicate. :p
I have a Snowy Call and a Pastel Call that are 4 1/2 weeks old. Curious if anyone can tell me their sexes? Pics attached. I think they are both ducks.
Thanks!

Since the Snowy is showing no green at on on the head I was thinking female.
At only 4.5 weeks they still need to go though another juvenile molt. With the head showing so much black through the tan I still suspect male. I'll try to find a picture of some of my young snowy drakes for reference.

Also, by this age is you pick each one up separately and walk away, you should be able to get a quack out of any females. The males will still make softer baby peeps.

At this age you can pick them up individually and take them away from the other and the females should give a definitive quack. The males will still have a soft peep at this age.

Agreed, 1 drake and 1 hen.

Drakes don’t start getting the green head until they are over 8 weeks old. Their bill colors are the main give away to their sex in these photos.
