I noticed he was hanging out, and it’s been hanging out for about 3 hours so far and it’s red (refer to pic below) any idea what could have happened and how to help him? I have 9 ducks with him included all together all the time, did one of them possibly bite it and injure it?

EDIT: he can get it back in on his own but it doesn’t seem to stay in if her poops or something it just falls back out, he also doesn’t seem to walk around much

I had a Muscovy male with an inflamed penis. However he was able to get it back in, but it took time. I used hydrocortisone cream on it and over time it went back to his normal color and was able to get his penis back in a normal amount of time. My Muscovy female did think it was a worm and yanked pretty hard on him. We separated him, so he could have time to recoup with no one yanking on it.

However, I wonder if yours is a prolapse. I haven't dealt with that yet. If it is a prolapse, I believe you want to carefully get it back in him. Hopefully someone else will chime in about it.

Let him soak in the pool or a tub of nice cool water make sure it’s clean. Once he’s done slather on triple antibiotic or neo or hydrocortisone cream something so you can easily push it back in. Keep him away from the rest of the flock . This may not be an easy fix But hopefully it will be you just might have to keep at it till it stays. Main thing is keeping it from drying out.

He gets it back in, but then he poops and it falls back out again, he also doesn’t like me around him so it’s hard to do anything.

Your gonna need to catch and isolate him. It needs to be kept clean and moist and you don't want him trying to use it until it's better. Plus you are right about the other ducks may have bitten or pulled on it and will probably continue to do so when they see it. That will complicate things further.

He is currently separated and was over night as well.
