Duck Stomach Noises

Hi, I am looking for any information about ducks who have gurgling noises in their stomach. I noticed a few people have posted on this already. I have two indoor runners who are almost a year old. One of them has a very loud stomach and her stool is runny almost always. She has been to see the vet many times while I have been learning how to care for ducks. She is a stress egg layer and melodramatic in temperament and this always seems to be the conclusion in her vet visits. A stool sample taken in mid-August came back clean. However, about 5 hours ago her stomach gurgling got louder than I've ever heard it. I can hear it across the room and she has runnier stool than usual. I will be calling a vet in the morning but I'm looking for any indicators from people here that may shed some light on this. Unfortunately, I just moved states and will need to work with a brand new vet.

I think it's normal....Ducks drink lots of water which makes their poop runny...Veg also can give them gurgling stomachs and runny poop....

Thanks for responding so quickly. I am hoping its normal. I haven't worried about it until now even though she has always made some noise. It was just so loud last night. I'm hoping she didn't eat something dangerous yesterday. Her diet includes Purina flock raiser crumbles, and various treats, plus about an hour of backyard time every day. Treats yesterday included cucumber, lettuce, parsley, cilantro, and grapes. Grapes were a new item so maybe her gut doesn't like them. This morning, I am reintroducing brewer's yeast and I'm going to add it back into her diet permanently along with a probiotics powder. Anyone know where I get a good probiotic powder?

Pet stores carry probiotic for parrots....I don't think that's needed....If your feeding iceberg lettuce?...Change to romain lettuce....

Hi if the duck has done if from the start I don’t think I would worry but my duck has just started doing this and not sure if it could be digestive issues or tape worm or something with this Covid19 I can’t do anything so I pray it’s gas thanks for sharing
