I have two ducks, a male, and a female. The drake has always had a problem with his leg/foot.. It had gotten better for a while but now it seems worse. He folds his foot under and just drags it (unless he's in a hurry he will put his body weight on the bone above his foot). It looks very painful. We've made a few splints. We made a soft splint but it ended up falling off and at the moment he has a harder splint on that's more supportive but it doesn't look as if it's working. Looks as if he's trying to balance his foot on the bottom of the splint. I just don't feel like it's working for him and I don't think it's comfortable. My female also a day ago seemed to somehow chip her beak. I feel terrible I don't know how these things are happening to them. I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions? The first and second videos are of his feet and the 3rd is a comparison of my females and the drakes.

For the beak I would wash it out then put cornstarch/quikstop on it. Then put super glue on it (bet u did not see that coming) that’s what I did for my chicken Lucy when our dog got her beak. I would make shore it is non-toxic glue . Not sure if Duck bills are too sensitive for that So check with @Isaac0 before doing. (Sorry if that doesn’t work I just know that is what you do for chickens :( )
