[Leia's Chickens]

Today's story:

" Hi everybody, today was a great day. Leia's dad mowed the the forest, the part where there is a whole field of grass. Us chickens got to go to the orchard and check on the peaches and pears. I forgot to mention that we have a orchard. There are blackberries, cherry trees, blueberries, and of course peaches and pears. Leia and her parents planted this orchard in the spring. Oh, and we have sweet potatoes too. There are only small fruits on right now, but the neighbors throw us peaches and cat food.

I don't like the cat food. Only Carmel and Big Red do. I didn't win the best behaved though

why not???? Leia picked Popcorn, I guess Popcorn should have won. I'm sad, the neighbors dog Mugsy died

He was a good dog to us chickens. I kinda liked him. No swimming today, I was having fun out in the forest. So, what happen to you guys to day ? Well it's time for dinner. Here is a picture of me taking a dust bath. Bye! BYC is the best!

Today's story:

" Today's story is going to be short, I am soaked wet. It is raining really hard right now. First I would like to thank mychickenbarn for becoming fan. Today was a good day until it started to rain.

I layed a egg. Then I pecked Daisy on the head for trying to steal my nest box.

She just doesn't learn. I also went out in the forest with Little Red and Carmel. We found a lot of grasshoppers. Then Leia and her parents went swimming, but then it started to cloud up and drizzle. After that we got a few hours. Then around 6:45 it started to pour.

That means we have to go through the pop door, to get in the coop. Instead of the human door. How was your day? Well, Bye. I'm going to try to dry off now. BYC is Best!"

I'm sorry I didn't say anthing about yesterday's story so here it is

"Hi all this is Ducky. Right now it is very nice here, not to hot. Today was really fun. Us chickens played hide and go seek in the forest. I found like a million grasshoppers. We also had a grasshopper contest to see which one of us could eat the most grasshoppers. I Won!!

I'm starting to feel stuffed, not only did I eat grasshoppers I ate tomatoes, and cucumbers plus the other bugs I found. I'm bloated !

Oh, well. I'm very healthy right ??? I should probably do Leia's morning workout, she trys to get us to run/walk around the big tree 6 times. The ones that do that are Little Red and Caramel. I didn't swim to day, the water seemed to cold to me. Have any of you been swimming ? Did I tell you that I almost got lost out in the woods, I was just pecking along when all of a sudden I was the only one pecking. Where did everyone go. Turned out that all the others decided to play a joke on me and run away. Meanies !!!! Anyway, I had a good day. I made a friend, it is a cotton tail bunny

so cute! Bye now BYC is best!!"
