This is Leo a chocolate dwarf pinto. He is looking for a forever home. Asking 300.00 for adoption fee and I am willing to travel half way to meet you for the cost of gas... I have traveled several states and they are very easy to transport in an enclosed dog carrier in back of pick up or even in a van or SUV. He is a nice little guy with no health issues and his hooves are in good shape. Experienced horse owners only please! He will need regular hoof trimmings and health care. thanks, Judy

No slammers please! If you know about dwarves you will understand they do look different than a horse in a miniature form... They tend to have short legs, pot bellies and a big head...... You love them despite their faults..... This picture taken in summer and he is now wearing a shaggy winter coat. They shed out wonderfully in the Spring.. UPDATE he is sold.... I have others so please contact me if interested....

I used to raise mini horses and dwarf horses are cute but there are plenty of health problems with them. There is an organization that takes these dwarf horses but not sure where....it has been over 15 years ago when there was a lady that would take any dwarfs.

Cute little bugger! If someone can keep on top of trimming, monitoring his diet and do all the stuff that the dwarf horse needs, he would live a very long life!

Yes I belonged to one of the groups that rescued the dwarves. Janell from Texas and Bill from Tenn. I transported a little guy named Lil Abner from Wis. to my home and Bill and his wife Wannalynn came up and got him. I have purchased the "magic shoes" from Janell too.

Several years of caring for the dwarves can wear a person out! I am now looking for good adoptive homes..

Leo is a stallion and is approx. 5 years old. He came from a farm in Michigan.

I so wish you were coming to Georgia. He could come and live with me. The kids and I would love to have him.....OK...anybody headed to GA anytime soon????
