Easiest duck diaper EVER!

My babies are muscovies - quiet, soft trills with an occasional squeak if I pick them up and they weren't expecting me too. Or a boop boop if they think they're being stalked lol. I miss the huffing and hey you ignore me when I run to greet you bites from Fancy... and telling him if I didnt love him so much he'd be duck steaks after one of those bites. It took me forever to get there with him and I don't even exactly know when it went from him running from me all the time to running to me.

One of our car rides :) I totally wish I had this for them then lol. They hated the ones I did have made for them.
Don't get me wrong, she HATED all of em, at first, even the ones that fit that I made. She's just now getting used to it a little where she doesn't pull at it constantly. Yesterday was the first day where it didn't take an act of congress to get it on her in the first place. She's like a dancing diva when I need her to be still LOL. Keep at it though. If you take em off right after you put it on because they hate it, they'll think that will work every time for every thing and become a tantrum throwing toddler. They're just like kids in that respect. If they know non-compliance isn't an option, they won't consider it or ask for it.

Speedy would literally dance around and act like her wings didn't work to help her balance! She'd try to make me thing the strap was holding them down when it wasn't even touching her wings, lol brat.
Fancy was easy to get it on him because I wasn't as scared I'd hurt him and he didn't wiggle as much, but hated it just the same. *sighs* I miss him.

Lol, Dandy mostly just wiggles her butt trying to shake it off or thinks she can preen it off.

OK, update to the latest harness. I've made several more of the harnesses, and I found that Walmart (or some of them anyway) have lanyards (near the key making counter) that are made of the same material as the pacifier holders, and they come in so many colors. It's also easier to use 1 solid piece than putting 3 together. I also made the neck part have a clip near the chest instead of a closed circle, and it's much easier to don and doff. I will post pics of the newest ones as soon as I can get them on the computer. Also, I've found that using the bibs with the terry cloth on one side (I put that side inside) seem to keep the diaper halves from moving around as much. I'm really getting quite quick at making these. Can get a whole set completed in 45 mins - an hour. (if I'm home alone that is)

That’s awesome!!! You need to do a little video and have one of your babies model them. Can’t wait to see!!!

I'll make a video this weekend and post it. You almost can't even see them because of her feathers. The strap is usually hidden by the first 10 minutes of having it on because she picks and combs her feathers out straight over the top of it.
OK, so I've tried to make videos, but you can't see any of it unless you're in the back and the phone is on the floor shining up onto her butt from the floor nearly. I'll have to just post pics of the harness itself I guess. It looks like the first one other than the clip added for easy removal.

So, what kind of pad do you put in it? What does stitch a ditch mean? That's a pretty swell looking duck you have there

Awesome for sure, but loud too LOL. 5 duckies all communicating in the house... That might be a little much for me. My hubby already laughs at how loud she gets when I leave the room. calls her squawk box. I can't picture 5 ducks LOL. But I'm glad I can help.
