Easter egger chick…hen or roo?

We have a 7 week old chick that my 6 year old has bonded with. I believed she was a pullet but I want to get other opinions. Thoughts?? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to BYC! Love the socks! Lol! My guess would be male, due to the redness of the comb. However, there are others here who have more experience with EE that might know for sure.

I’m thinking cockerel as well, the pea comb can throw you off, as it will not be as big as a straight comb, but that redness is looking like cockerel.
