Egg bound?... prolapse??? Help please!

I put things in simple terms. The tissue (wish we had pics) is something like panty hose with the egg in it. There is a opening (like the toe part of pantyhose). Sometimes it gets dried out if the prolapse has been out for awhile. You must be careful not to tear or cut this. If we could see the position of the egg it would be so helpful.
But the OP has not responded.

Without seeing it, it would be hard to know what to tell you to do, but please don't cut anything.
See if this video will help your situation.
Okay... thank you everyone for the replies... I actually was able to get decent enough signal to send that exact video to my dad and have him watch it for me and then tell me what to do over the phone. :) I let her soak for probably 45 minutes. She still didnt Pau the egg on her own, but I was able to use coconut oil and persuaded it to come out gently . I applied some hemorrhoid cream, scrambled her egg for her... (she did work pretty hard for it!!) She did eat a few bites but just seemed worn out. So I put her in a cage alone but inside the coop with the other chickens where she was resting when I left... I'm hoping it took care of the problem.:fl Thank you all so much for your responses

Wonderful!
I'm glad you were able to help her and that your Dad talked you through it!
Did all of the tissue go back inside her or is there any still exposed?
If there is still exposed tissue, then keep that moist.

I'm sure she is worn out, so hopefully she will get a good rest. She needs to stay hydrated that's very important.

Sounds like you did good.

There is a very small amount that's still exposed. Soon after she first got up she went to the bathroom and it popped out but I pushed it back in and it seemed to have stayed?? how often should I put cream on it?

Keep it moist. It might take a day or two. You did right to push it back in. Hold pressure for a few minutes each time it pops out. It’s still pretty fresh right now. Probably tomorrow will be a better day. You can use prepreration H for the swollen external area (vent).
She’s had a tough night and her muscles are tired.

Keep the tissue moist with your cream or ointment.
Hemorrhoid cream or an anti-inflammatory ointment will work.

I would try to check her as frequently as possible, if it came out when she pooped, it may come back out again. If that happens, just clean her up and give her another soaking if she not too weak.
Sometimes the tissue can be too swollen to stay in and you may need to keep it moist for a day or so, then try putting it back in.

Her staying hydrated is important. You can also give her extra calcium to help retain the tissue. 1/2 Caltrate or 1 TUMS can be given for a couple of days for quick calcium uptake.
