My 5/6 year old hen has been losing weight and not really eating and I figured it was because she has been sick

This morning I noticed her beak doesn’t shut completely on one side (this is new she wasn’t born with any beak deformities)

I think it’s from overgrowth?
I may try trimming with a file a little to see if it will even out

I wanted to get others thoughts?

Note* this isn’t my picture or hen but this is what it looks like

Can you please post photos of your hen, her beak and the inside of her beak?

She's losing weight and the beak is not shutting all the way - look inside the beak for any signs of Canker, yellow or white pasty material. Note is there's any bad odors.

Is her crop emptying?
