emu vets near san antonio and austin texas

so my girl emu darlene has an injured leg and i was wondering if anyone knows of some emu vets that can come to my house to see her. I found one but a friend said they are not that good. she is a about a year old and i assume would need to be sedated for transport and or inspection. thank you

How is your emu doing? Did you find a vet? If not, try calling Texas A & M, they might know of one.

she made a full recovery before i could find a good mobile xray vet. i did find two mobile vets that would come see her but none of them had a mobile xray machine. i also asked my grandpa what i should do since he is an exotic vet and used to work with emus, he said we should try to get it exrayed and or just give it painkiller if we thought it needed it. now though she is in good health.

I never found anyone with a mobile xray machine, so i just called a family member who was a mobile emu vet i the 90s and he said it will heal, and it did for me.
Hope you emu gets better. In what ways is the bird injured?
