I decided to start this thread because not that long ago I read bout someone euthanizing by drowning, which doesn't seem very humane to me.

Think it has more to do with the note shown in post #14:I think it's because it's has this "This video may be inappropriate for some users."
Looks interesting. Have you found any videos of it in action?I was looking for something that might be easier for me to do alone. Being a rather small female, and wary of "doing it wrong", I came across this:

It does seem to provide the proper cervical dislocation, and the ability to position in the right place, and is adjustable for different sized birds. And I could mount in low to the ground where I could get proper leverage, and easy bird handling. Seems to be sold in Australia, so I'm wondering if my husband can fabricate something similar.
What do you all think of the method?
