Here is a Cooper's hawk from about 2 years ago. He was still young then.
It is difficult to tell a juvenile Copper's from a red-tail. A guy from Fish and Game identified this one for me.

I've been waiting to use that forever.. because it's quite hard to post when someone actually does lose one of their pets of course. I've lost a few this year, but still find the picture funny.

I agree, it's tough when it's a pet, but that picture still made me laugh.

I wanted to post it on our facebook page, but am afraid someone may have just lost one to a hawk recently, and don't want to offend.
